BNSOL
Update shuda Aug 27, 2026 What is BNSOL?
BNSOL is a
liquid staking token issued by Binance that represents staked
Solana (SOL), allowing users to earn staking rewards while retaining the ability to trade or use their tokens in DeFi activities.
Unlike traditional
staking where tokens are locked for a set period, BNSOL provides more flexibility. Users stake SOL on Binance and receive BNSOL in return. The BNSOL:SOL conversion rate increases over time as staking rewards accrue, meaning the value of each BNSOL token grows relative to SOL.
How BNSOL Works
The process for using BNSOL involves three main steps.
First, users stake SOL on Binance and receive BNSOL tokens at the current conversion ratio.
Second, staking rewards accumulate automatically as the conversion rate updates periodically, generally every 2-3 days.
Third, users can redeem BNSOL back to SOL at the updated ratio, though redemption may take a few days to process.
BNSOL can also be used in various
DeFi activities on the Solana network, such as trading, lending, and
liquidity provision. This means users can potentially earn additional yield on top of their staking rewards, though DeFi integration for BNSOL remains more limited compared to some decentralized alternatives.
Key Considerations
BNSOL is issued and custodied by Binance. This means that unlike self-custodied liquid staking tokens, BNSOL holders do not control the private keys associated with their staked assets.
Users should also be aware that BNSOL may trade at a small premium or discount to SOL depending on market conditions and withdrawal queue depth.
