What Is Holoworld AI?

Holoworld AI is a decentralized marketplace and social platform for artificial intelligence (AI). The platform allows anyone to create, trade, and deploy AI agents with no coding skills required. Developed by Hologram Labs, Holoworld AI combines blockchain technology and AI to create virtual characters that are both interactive and verifiable. Unlike static avatars, Holoworld AI agents can communicate through text, voice, and 3D models, allowing for more interactions.

The platform includes tools such as Ava Studio, which allows users to generate video content with their agents, and the Agent Market, where agents can be listed, traded, and launched. Through these features, Holoworld AI provides a framework for exploring interactive digital characters and experimenting with new forms of media and online engagement.

How Holoworld AI Works

AI agents

Holoworld AI is built around AI agents that can act and communicate on behalf of users. These agents are designed to reflect a user’s digital identity and can interact across different platforms. Every AI agent is recorded on the Solana blockchain, providing verifiable ownership and allowing these digital characters to be treated as unique assets or intellectual property.

By connecting with social networks like X, your agent can mirror your online persona, engaging in ways that match your style and presence. You can also deploy your agent in livestreams, brand channels, and other digital spaces, making it a flexible tool for both personal expression and professional use.

Credits

Holoworld uses a credit-based system that covers the costs of operating AI agents. These credits, known as Holo Credits, are used to cover expenses such as language model inference, API calls, and 3D rendering. Users acquire credits by burning an equivalent dollar amount of AVA tokens, the first AI Agent token built on Holoworld. For example, burning $50 worth of AVA provides 50 Holo Credits. This system simplifies payments by combining all expenses into one clear metric, making usage easy to track and manage.

Key Features

Ava Studio

Ava Studio is Holoworld’s agentic video production platform, allowing you to turn text prompts into video productions. The platform helps you generate AI characters, write scripts, create multiple scenes, and add narration, sound effects, and background music. Every part of your video is editable, allowing you to adjust visuals, timing, and dialogue until it matches your vision.

The platform offers two primary creation paths: starting from scratch with custom prompts for original content, or utilizing pre-designed templates for faster production. New users receive free credits upon registration, which can be used to generate videos, scenes, or voices. With Ava Studio, you can combine automation and simple editing tools to produce videos quickly, without needing traditional editing skills.

Agent Market

The Agent Market is where you can create, deploy, and trade AI agents. It works as both a launchpad and a marketplace, providing you with the tools to design agents and make them available across multiple platforms. Each agent comes with an ID card that includes their name, bio, voice, and profile image, defining how they interact with others.

You can upload files or links to build a knowledge base for your agent and adjust its personality using templates or custom prompts. Once deployed, your agent can be traded, and others can explore its profile, check its history, or join live chats. Beyond the marketplace, agents can also operate on platforms such as X, YouTube, and Twitch, making them both interactive companions and tradable digital assets.

OpenMCP

OpenMCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open-source framework that provides a standardized way for AI agents to interact with Web3 systems. It enables agents to interact with blockchains, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (DApps) through a common interface. The framework includes tools such as the EVM Agent Kit and EVM MCP, which focus on EVM-compatible chains like Arbitrum. These components enable agents to read and write to smart contracts, retrieve blockchain data, and operate across multiple networks in a consistent manner.

Developer tools

Holoworld supports both casual creators and developers. No-code tools enable anyone to design intelligent characters easily, while the Agent SDK and APIs provide advanced users with the ability to integrate custom agents into apps or chat platforms. These agents can be tailored to have unique personalities and hosted securely using multi-party computation (MPC).

Holoworld AI Token

The HOLO token is the native token of the Holoworld ecosystem and serves as the base currency of its agentic app store.

  • Staking: HOLO stakers can earn rewards and gain early access to new project launches through Hololaunch.

  • Governance: HOLO holders can propose and vote on initiatives related to programs, partnerships, and protocol development. This governance role gives the community direct influence over the future direction of Holoworld.

  • Creator incentives: A portion of HOLO is allocated to support ecosystem growth, with rewards distributed to creators and participants who contribute to building and sustaining the platform.

  • Network currency: HOLO functions as the primary medium of exchange across the Holoworld Open MCP network, facilitating transactions between users, agents, and applications.

Holoworld AI (HOLO) on Binance HODLer Airdrops

On September 11, 2025, Binance announced HOLO as the 38th project on the Binance HODLer Airdrops. Users who subscribed their BNB to Simple Earn and/or On-Chain Yields products from August 29 to September 1 were eligible to receive HOLO airdrops. A total of 30,720,000 HOLO tokens were allocated to the program, accounting for 1.5% of the total token supply.

HOLO was listed with the Seed Tag applied, allowing for trading against the USDT, USDC, BNB, FDUSD, and TRY pairs.

Closing Thoughts

Holoworld AI combines artificial intelligence and blockchain to provide a platform where users can design, trade, and interact with virtual AI agents. Tools like Ava Studio and the Agent Market make it easier to design and share AI-driven content. With OpenMCP and developer APIs, these agents can also connect to blockchains and DApps across different networks.
